Just Us Coffee and Books is an experience designed to provide a safe space for storytelling and conversation. “Dear Summer” is an off-shoot of the brand - a summertime pop-up series. The clients’ requirements were to develop a logo for the main brand that included a handwritten component and a heart shape, along with supplementary assets for the pop-up series.

The final deliverable - combination of a book and coffee cup - is a practical visualization of the business; quick, impactful & memorable. The two “smoke” swirls at the top of the icon represent a partnership between Just Us founders Ebony and Lauren.

As an additional brand element, the badge can be deconstructed into a series of “squiggle” lines and applied across deliverables.
